Default Gvg At -25k Rating

GG ANET, we just lost -25 rating because a member dc'ed 4sec before we enter the first round of AT. -5 rating would be more than enough to stop ppl from registering and not even care about joining. Also i was wondering why when a skill is overpowered, instead of balancing it, you just kill it...

Sucks to be you. Shit happens.

Oh and your brilliant idea to kill skills: because making it balanced is more useful, there wouldn't be any skills left in the game. Also, balancing a skill can also mean buffing it, and make it more viable and interesting. So it creates fun.

People have been dealing with -double digits for awhile now. You should be ready for it.

Yeh we had a -25 because we had 3 guests and 2 people that were under the 14day limit, its too much rating really, but ladder rank is worthless anyway.

So its a straight -25 then? Thought they'd do it so you would lose rating according to opponents rating. Just as if you'd entered and lost. Ah well spose with a big loss like 25 it really does deter.

Ladder rating has always been completely stupid, and now that there are teams tanking to 0 purposefully so that they can get +25/-0 in regular AT against any team, it's even stupider.

Yes, it sucks for the casual guild who cares about their rating/rank, but Anet always has its roundabout ways of fixing stuff that causes more problems than it solves.

I already warned earlier that this was gonna happen. Such a dumb implementation to stop forfeits.

Just don't play ATs then and stick with normal ol' ladder games for your +2s and +3s. Sure, you won't be running up the ladder very quickly or anything and it's rather slow going but it's not like they force you to play in ATs if you think the AT gives overinflated values.

Honestly it's still better than having 3/4 of all the teams in every AT forfeiting at the beginning of the tournament.

ZFQ just had the same thing happen today and we got a -25, but I don't really even care because I still like this system better now.

Don't feel too bad. We've gotten around a total -250 rating this past week.

I think you are missing the bigger picture here. The new AT changes, while annoying to some, are in actuality a necessary superbuff to Best Guild In The Game.

It's a nice way to tank your smurf once it gets too high and getting a match starts to take a long time if anything.

It's not as bad as getting shit like that in a monthly. The really sad thing is it happened almost a dozen times already, almost every MAT so far.

Hmmh, I wonder. As the update said it would use highest K value possible. So, we have seen people forfeiting at first round in mAT before. So, would they with current update, lose 50 rating?

yes Zabe, forfeit first round in monthly = -50.

p.s. Best should change their name to Worst, cause they suck @@@@ and the ones who lost to them should be ashamed. Obsidian spike in this meta is just unbelievable...
